- Chad CowanCEODuct Detectives FounderChad CowanCEO
Chad has been in the Disaster Clean Up and Commercial Duct Cleaning Industry since 1996. His knowledge of Disaster Clean Up and Indoor Air Quality is second to none due to his 15 years of previous experience as owner and co-owner of a national franchise system, specializing in water, fire, and duct cleaning. Duct Detectives, Inc. was formed in 2006 after seeing the importance of Post Construction Duct Cleaning in the Commercial/Health Care Market. Chad has taken the idea of “eyes on” and “hands on vacuuming” to a new level:
“It is very important when we are hired by a hospital administrator, or a general or mechanical contractor to get all systems cleaned to NADCA’S ACR 2006 Standards. Our technicians are trained to get their eyes and hands on as much of the duct system as possible to obtain the very best outcome.” Chad Cowan.
He currently serves on the Public Relations and Marketing Committee and the Education & Certification Committee for NADCA. Additionally, he is ASCS, VSMR, and CVMR certified and served as a former NADCA Region 7 coordinator. Chad is a graduate of Austin Peay State University and holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration.
A strong supporter of the community he serves, Chad is a proud member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, where he is a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #15357. He and his family are also founders and active supporters of the non-profit, the Graham J. Cowan Foundation.
